With the help of the excellent Scottish Documents Site , I've been collecting some of the wills pertaining to my family. Here are 3 I have copied meantime, unfortunately they don't help me in my search, I'm trying to link my ancestor John Clyne, a wright in Menmuir with James Clyne, schoolmaster in Menmuir. Menmuir is a tiny village, there were no Clynes there until James Clyne came. He had a son, John, around when my John would have been born, but unfortunately I have no conclusive link between the two, as yet.
