I've recently made contact with a branch of the family in the US.Evan and Virginia and first cousins to each other and their great great grandparents are my great great great grandparents.

Virginia has sent me loads of family photos and is telling me many family stories of her great grandmother, Helen Duff, who was the sister of my great great grandmother, Janet. Helen and her husband David Dick left Scotland for the US with their first child only a month old and sailed for America.
